Job
Responsibilities
- Deployment of campaigns into the schedule
according to the scheduling and data requirements
- Setting up and of monitoring tools for
automated campaigns
- Monitoring of the execution of automated
campaigns after hours and potentially overnight (depending on the actual
schedule)
- Capacity planning for automated campaigns
and other components of the schedule
- First tier support for any issues with the
automated schedule
- Appropriate classification of issues and
escalation to / engagement of appropriate teams
- Thorough analysis and resolution of
problems within the automated schedule
- Ability to receive fault notifications and
support of the automated schedule after hours and potentially overnight
(depending on the actual schedule)
- Unica Administration e.g. Access Security
and application configurations
- Management of campaign management
application upgrades
Job Qualifications
- Required tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline and/or
Marketing/Information Technology
- Technical Database Management Skills
- Unix administration – intermediate, Unix performance monitoring and
tuning – basic to intermediate
- Oracle administration and tuning – intermediate
- SQL – intermediate to advanced
- IT Customer Systems or BI Architect who has implemented systems like:
Chordiant, Unica, TCRM, SAP, SAS or Teradata
- Ideally 6 or more years of experience in advanced information analysis
or customer campaigns
- Experience with Unica campaigns and flowcharts – intermediate to
advanced- Understanding of log files
- Understanding of Unica command line utilities - intermediate
- Understanding of Unica data model – basic to intermediate
- Understanding of the system-wide configuration options (via Affinium
Manager) – basic to intermediate
- Understanding of the Marketing Data mart data model – basic to
intermediate, Understanding of data flows, data refreshes and timings,
Understanding of the company marketing process – intermediate
- Business process design or customer solutions design – Technology
solution
- Understanding and familiarity with the Execution Plan (Direct Marketing
Brief)
- Ability to execute maintenance tasks according to the SLA levels
specified in the EP, Ability and authority to contact and engage appropriate
teams (technical support, data services, system administrators etc.) as
required, Ability to run Innovation Proof of concepts to support business
investment in new capabilities
- Development of a high performing team culture in a complex and demanding
environment
- Proven communicator of complex ideas and solutions easily and
effectively – ability to influence others and to work in a team environment
& service internal client
- Strong leader who has experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- Campaign Management Training and Development Program
- Experience in Database Marketing techniques
- Good knowledge of the Financial Services Industry (ideal)
- Min. 8 or more years of experience in advanced customer campaigns
Database Marketing
- Experienced presenter, in client support, at managing multiple tasks.
- Experienced in development of Real Time Marketing/Event Based Marketing
activities
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts and an ever
changing environment
- Strong customer focus- both internal clients and external clients
